Introducing A Climbing Tradition

Since its debut in 2009, Southern Sendfest has become one of the largest climbing and bouldering competitions in south Georgia. Try out unique problems at the RAC’s Climbing Wall and Bouldering Cave, both modeled from actual rock with distinct lighting, and meet other climbers over free lunch and snacks. All climbers get a swag bag courtesy of our sponsors and an exclusive Southern Sendfest shirt! Top climbers in each division also receive unique prizes.

About Southern Sendfest

Join a day on the rocks at Southern Sendfest. The competition is divided into two heats or runs. Climbers, you can choose your preferred heat when you register online! All climbers must complete the CRI waiver form.

Competition Schedule

Check out the schedule for Southern Sendfest! Climbers are required to attend the pre-climbing meeting for their heat.

Registration: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Heat 1 Pre-Climbing Meeting: 8:45 a.m.
Heat 1 Competition: 9 a.m.
Heat 2 Pre-Climbing Meeting: 12:45 p.m.
Heat 2 Competition: 1 p.m.
Dyno Competition: 4:30 p.m.

Sendfest Scoring

Southern Sendfest is a single round Repoint Format competition. Earn points by solving as many problems as you can within a time limit. There’s no pressure to move fast! Judges watch and award appropriate scores to ensure fair and safe competition.
